Brief Description
To celebrate 75 years of the Cambridge Jersey Club George Dawick wrote a history which covered the introduction of the Jersey cow to New Zealand, then the Waikato and Cambridge. Cornelius Day and Richard Reynolds feature in the establishment of local Jersey studs and C A Care, Alex Moreland, A E Missen, E Veale, Scott, Craig, Whitehouse, Wigg, Buchanen, Vosper, Chilcott, Hall, Ryburn, Wallace, Church and G E Clark were predominant in the Waikato.
Life Members of the Cambridge Club include R Wattam, A G Clow, J A Moreland, J W Singers, R P Miers, A E Paton, D O Murray, T Geck, K A Fraser, A R Lusby and G H Dawick.
