Plus a Native Account of the Pakeha – Maori Wars in New Zealand; Incidents of the war by Lieut Col McDonnell; Tales of the Maori; an alphabetical list of Volunteers and Militia men who received the New Zealand medal, and a list of Officers and Men of the Colonial Forces who were killed by the Natives in action 1860 – 70.
