'The four married couples who founded Ohaupo were Joseph and Anna Karl and Anna's younger sisters, Catherine and Elizabeth, their husbands Henry Gleye and Hans Krippner, and Hans' brother Michael and wife Barbara, Anna's brother Anton Turnwald coming later.'
