'The Karl Story' by Edward J Karl

Brief Description
The story of the Karl family who arrived in Puhoi from Bohemia then, via the Waikato Land Wars in 1863 and as members of the 3rd Waikato Militia, settled in Ohaupo. 'The four married couples who founded Ohaupo were Joseph and Anna Karl and Anna's younger sisters, Catherine and Elizabeth, their husbands Henry Gleye and Hans Krippner, and Hans' brother Michael and wife Barbara, Anna's brother Anton Turnwald coming later.'
