Registration Fee Coupon Book Social Security Act, 1938 - For Issue to Female Persons Only.

Brief Description:
Certificate of Registration in booklet form. "All female persons, sixteen years of age and over, ordinarily resident in New Zealand are required to register under the Act and receive a registration fee coupon-book within one month from the 1st April 1939 or (in the case of those who attain the age of sixteen or become ordinarily resident after the 1st April 1939) within one month after such sixteenth birthday or date of becoming ordinarily resident, as the case maybe. This applies to all such persons irrespective of occupation, calling or status, and whether or not in receipt of income or entitled to exemption from payment of the registration fee."
The fee was 5 shillings.
Holder's name was Winifred Kite, widow, of Leamington in 1945.
