Brief Description
Collection of ephemera and legal papers relating to the Peppercorn family
•  Account from James Peppercorn, (Butcher, 5 Oakfield Road) to R B Gerring 27 August 1888 for wages of £30.
•  Four Board of Education, Auckland certificates to Louie Peppercorn, attending the Hautapu School, for passing Examinations - second standard 2 November 1888; third standard 2 December 1889; fourth standard 5 November 1890 and fifth standard 17 October 1891.
•  Agreement of Lease of 50 acres at Hautapu known as 'Clements Park' between James Peppercorn (leasee) and Geraldine Ann Wright (leasor). 1 March 1898.
•  Agreement for Sale of 167 acres at Pukekura between George Read and James, Albert Ernest and Robert Sydney Peppercorn at £17 per acre in 4 April 1904.
•  Reference from Thos Wells, Merchant, Cambridge NZ to Robert Sydney Peppercorn who had been his clerk from 1899 to 1905.
•  Post cards to Miss Louie Peppercorn of WW1 Sling Camp, Bulford; Salisbury Plain; and Panorama von Cöln.
•  Various newspaper cuttings. James Peppercorn and Sarah nee Gerring arrived in New Zealand on the ship 'Hermione' with their six children Herbert Gerring, Louie Florence, Mary Ann (Polly), Albert Ernest, Robert Sydney and Arthur Leonard.
