Peppercorn Sketch Books

Brief Description
2 soft covered books containing pencil sketches. Sarah Gerring was born 2 November 1838 in England and married James Peppercorn in 1874. They arrived in New Zealand with their six children on the 'Hermione' 28 January 1887. A small sketch book with pencil drawings arrived with them. Sarah died 17 June 1914 and is buried in the Leamington Cemetery.
