Brief Description
A4 soft cover booklet of 16 pages produced for the Diamond Jubilee held over 31 August – 8 September 1941. The 1881 Vestry were Thomas Wells, Francis Hicks, Charles Chitty, James Young, J Bates, A Hughes, I Stewart, A Kearney and E Allen. The vicars were William Willis, Clive Mortimer Jones, Lionel Harvie, George Gordon Bell and Charles Chandler.
There is the story of Rev Alfred Nesbit Brown by C W Vennell. The stories of the first chapel, memorials and some personalities including Thomas Wells, Francis Hicks, Frederick Sanders, James Young and Charles Chitty.
