Brief Description
A5 booklet of 19 pages. The Official Programme New Zealand Polo Association Savile Cup Tournament Cambridge 1935 commencing 20th March.
The Savile Challenge Cup was presented in 1889 by Major R S (then Captain) Savile, to be played for annually by the Polo Clubs in New Zealand under the following conditions:-

  1. That it be played for under Hurlingham rules.
  2. That the competition each year should take place at one centre.
  3. That the Imperial Services have the right to enter a team each year.

The Cambridge Team colours were light blue, white quarters. Cambridge 'A' were Robert Nolan, George Vosper, Ken Peake, H Peake. Cambridge 'B' were Rob Peake, R Townend, Ritchie Hannon, R Speake.
Winners listed from 1890 – 1930. 1931 – 1934 not played owing to economic depression.
